Drawing on significant operational and leadership experience from humanitarian emergencies and conflict zones, Gyroscope Strategic Advisory helps clients define strategic solutions and build momentum through uncertainty and crisis.
My name is Alec Kelly. I founded Gyroscope Strategic Advisory to help organisations maintain direction in complex and uncertain environments. My experience spans leadership roles across the humanitarian and military sectors, including managing numerous emergency responses in conflict zones and disaster-affected settings throughout Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean.
Having worked with organisations operating under extreme pressure, I understand the challenges of making decisions when information is incomplete, risks are evolving, and the consequences of failure are significant. I combine practical operational experience with systems thinking to help organisations build resilience, navigate uncertainty, and achieve lasting impact.
